Avalon Beauty College is situated
in Booragoon, Western Australia. The College is owned and
managed by Win Murphy, who is widely respected in the Beauty
Industry in W.A. Win is a qualified Beauty Therapist, Masseuse,
Nail Technician and Reiki Master who also holds a Certificate
IV in Workplace Training.
During the past 6 years, Win
has taught Beauty Therapy and managed 2 Beauty Training colleges
in Perth. There are many students, of all ages, who went through
the college and are working in the Industry who remember Win
with fondness as the person who got them started and helped
them when they needed guidance.

Win's teaching knowledge is
backed with practical experience. She established "Sophisticated
Lady - Nails & Beauty" in Applecross, Western Australia
which she ran for 10 years.
After selling the business in
1997, Win spent time in the UK training with the Steiner Institute
learning the Holistic side of Beauty Therapy. She was posted
to the beauty salon on the MV Century, sailing out of the
US port of Miami and cruising the exotic ports of the Caribbean.
On her return to Australia, Win saw the need
to help people get easy access to a Beauty qualification with
a 'pay as you learn' correspondence course which could be
completed at home at the students own pace and so Avalon Beauty
College was born. Since then, Avalon has grown into a Nationally
Accredited Beauty College with College attended courses and
correspondence courses.
